Vimy Dinner
The Vimy Dinner is Lethbridge’s annual military dinner event. Originally a Mess Dinner for the 20th Independent Field Battery. It has been expanded in recent years to include members of the Lethbridge and Southern Alberta community interested in supporting our local military heritage, and the promotion of events that support our serving military members.

Vimy Dinner Objective:
The goal of the Vimy Dinner is to showcase the military presence in Southern Alberta and to share some of the traditions of our military heritage with the community. Proceeds from the event go towards the promotion our Veterans, Serving Military, Cadets, their organizations, and our shared military heritage.
The 1908 League of Military Associations:
Is a not-for-profit partner with the 20IFB to assist with the organization of events, such as the Vimy Dinner. On February 1, 1908 the 25th (Independent) Battery was formed in Lethbridge. This was the foundation of our community’s momentous military presence. The 1908 League’s namesake is a nod to the foundation of our military heritage. The directors are Major Robert Mein, 2Lt Matthew McHugh, Treasurer Michael Gabriel.
